Trig integrals?

int. (6sin^6x)(cos^3x)dx

i worked it out and got 6[(sin^7x/7)-(sin^9x/9)] + C

webassign is telling me its wrong then there's a syntax error...help?

Trig integrals?
okay well sometimes calculators are weird. maybe you typed it in wrong. like try double parentheses.

did you do a , x?

i put it in my calculator and got:

-(cos(9x)+3cos(3x))/3

but that could be totally wrong.

good luck!
Reply:I don't think its powers you want. It works if they are coeefficients of x

sin6x = 2sin3xcos3x

Thus we have

int 12sin(3x)cos^2(3x)

If u = cos(3x) then du = -3sin3x dx

=%26gt; int -4u^2 du

= -4u^3/3

y = -4cos^3(3x)/3
